My dads family is very negative I wish I could just cut them from my life. Sadly they keep showing up uninvited!

A statement I can't argue. Though I tend to be more a realist than an optimist, I don't think of myself as negative. I think it's important to determine what an individual considers negativity as well. Great quote thanks for sharing!

Denise, all you can do is remain positive and not allow his negativity to get you down. When he says something negative, counter with a positive comment.
