My girls are at it again. They put in a request on the grocery list for apples and oranges for snacks. There was not a sugary snack to be found on their list...not a donut, cake, pie, or cookie requested. I am so proud. When your kids see you eating better they start to make better decisions on their own. *tear*
Did I mention they eat boiled eggs as snacks also? *happy dance*
ETA: The girls picked up flavored instead of juice or diet soda. They made my day. They did not attempt to ask for juice. They went straight to flavored water and a case of regular water just for them.
