Today was a slow day and nothing went as planned. I did a little grocery shopping and headed to the meat store before realizing they are closed on Mondays. So my breakfast for this morning was a pepperoni omelet because I'm out of fresh bacon. I did get get some cardio in today, 22:30 on the elliptical. I guess I tired myself out because I slept the rest of the day. Well, until it was time to pick my daughters up from school.
Once I get back into the swing of things, I know my energy level will pick up and my body will start to crave working out again.
I think another part of my sleepiness was due to the rain. Yes, it was cold and rainy today in the Sunshine State. Grrr Today has been one of those days when nothing seemed to go right but in the end, I did not seek comfort in a bag of chips or a bowl of ice cream. That's two positive for today, exercise and no emotional eating. I'll take it!
I had to change my plans on lunch and dinner because I spent more time at the grocery store than planned. When I got home I was starving, not good. Oh! I did stick to my grocery list despite hungry shopping. You know how it is when you go grocery shopping when you are hungry...pick up a bunch of stuff you don't need.
Anyway, I had a pickle when I got home with a diet root beer. I know wasn't much but it was something. My second meal for the day was chicken wings. I'm planning to have shrimp for dinner, but I don't know if I want to make curry shrimp served over cauliflower rice or shrimp alfredo served over fettuccine shirataki noodles.
