The crab cakes and steak alfredo turned out great yesterday. I haven't done much today. I feel bad b/c I skipped church today. I'm going to take measurements tomorrow and be more consistent with publishing them.I want people to see my progress even though I'm not a using the scale to track my losses. Over the next couple of weeks I'm going to work on cooking more. I have a couple of low carb cookbooks that I want to use in addition to modifying my Paula Deen cookbooks to make them low carb friendly.
Menu for today:
B: 2 slices of fresh cut bacon and 2 large eggs cooked in EVCO
L: 1 crab cake and 12 shrimp
D: ground turkey spaghtetti
Snack: carbsmart almond ice cream bar
I'm going to use Ragu's lite spaghetti sauce. It is the lowest carb sauce I've seen without having to make my own. I have made my own in the past but this was a last minute dinner plan. I having 1/4C of sauce, 1/4C of ground turkey, and 1 package of tofu spaghetti noodles
The crab cake is left over from yesterday's lunch. I figure the I needed more protein and I decided to add the shrimp. I'm going look for a recipe to try and I will post it if I find one.
